Afbeelding bij Terberg FM 3000 for Crok Westzaan Terberg Benschop has delivered a new Terberg FM3000 10x8 tipper chassis to Crok Transportbedrijf BV in Westzaan. It is one of the biggest tippers in the Netherlands. The tipper body has a volume of 35 cubic meters. Because of the major content of the tipper body, Crok’s Terberg FM3000 is both suited for transporting heavy materials and for the transport of bulky cargo. Thus, the transport company has an advantage for customers who have varying demands for transportation. The strong and clean engine, 440 hp Euro 5, has no trouble with heavy materials such as ore and slag sand, nor with lighter products like coke or other grit. This is exactly what is needed on the terrain of Corus in IJmuiden. The truck is all prepared to work on the premises of the steel plant. It is visible in the shape of the headboard with a recess so that even this large dump truck can load under the chute for slag sand with a height of 3.65 meters.

Recycling
On the public road the Terberg FM3000 is also welcomed. The Terberg FM3000 itself provides a contribution to the safety since Crok chose the version with automated gear change. The impervious tipper body also ensures clean and safe transportation under all circumstances. When transporting mud, an impervious body is a necessary condition. With the Terberg FM3000 Crok also transports composted soil to customers in the vicinity of a recycle company, or brings wood chips from the same company to the Huisvuilcentrale Noord-Holland (HVC) in Alkmaar. There the wood chips are used as fuel in the incinerators of HVC and provide the basis for the generation of green electricity. Thanks to the sophisticated equipment of the Terberg FM3000 Crok is able to deliver, both in IJmuiden and in Alkmaar, a valuable contribution to the economy
