There is a growing demand for special vehicles of Terberg Benschop in the Baltic States. For this reason Willenbrock Baltic has been appointed as a distributor since this autumn. The venture has a solid sales and service organization, both in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
As the Baltic’s became independent again in 1991, the transport of goods has been developing strongly in the three countries. At the same time the demand for special vehicles of Terberg Benschop has grown. According to the expectations the sales will increase further now Willenbrock Baltic has been appointed as distributor. The venture has already experience with sales and maintenance of material handling equipment in the three countries. It is a subsidiary of the German Willenbrock Fördertechnik. The company, which has been established in 1962, has developed itself to a multi-purpose specialist in the field of material handling and port technology. In that atmosphere the special vehicles of Terberg Benschop are more than welcome to extend the product range. The tractors of Terberg Benschop have been developed especially for the very heavy work in the ports, industry and logistical companies.
“The growing interest for our terminal, RoRo, and yard tractors, justifies the appointment of a separate distributor,” says general director George Terberg. “I am proud to work in cooperation with Willenbrock Baltic. A young company with enthusiastic people who work to their utmost to deliver and maintain our special vehicles and to provide and ensure the best possible after sales service. To my conviction it is the best possible partner to serve our customers in the three countries.”
“We, at Willenbrock Baltic are serious about our presence in the Baltic’s,” confirms director Jens-Uwe Meier. “Two years after the start we have more than 45 employees, with separate headquarters in Estonia (Talin), Latvia (Riga) and in Lithuania (Vilnius). On top of that we have five locations from which we grant technical support. That is an important reason for Terberg Benschop to start the cooperation. Terberg Benschop is keen on a solid service organization and we love to do it. For our customers we are available day and night. They cannot permit themselves any downtime in the business. In addition to that we offer a wide package of other services. It is not only about sales of new and used trucks. We also offer rental, leasing and service contracts, including financial services and advice in logistic matters. For this reason I am convinced that the cooperation of Willenbrock Baltic and Terberg Benschop will increase the appreciation for the products of the Dutch manufacturer of special vehicles in all three Baltic countries.”
