Airports

Terberg offers many options for solving transportation problems at larger airports. The Yard tractor is most commonly used for transporting cargo generally to cargo aircraft. Because of the greater distances at these airports, the powerful engine and ergonomic layout of the Terberg tractor are a major advantage. For these purposes, the fifth wheel is replaced by a ballast block allowing the tractor to pull multi-trailer trains with cargo. Ramps in tunnels, under the tracks, do not represent any problem for the powerful engines. The Terberg tractors are also used at airports to transport de-icing fluid containers to remote places on the starting and landing strips.
